Kenny began his career as an actor at 8 years old appearing on some of the TV shows his dad Production Managed like "Naked City", "Hawk", and commercials. He starred as "The Prince" in the 1969 musical motion picture "The Prince & The Pauper" (which you can find on YOUTUBE) and then took 4 years off to study acting at Boston University.

After graduation, Kenny was cast as one of the "understudies"  in the National Tour of "GREASE," and then the Guber-Gross Tour of "GREASE" as "Sonny."  After the tour, Kenny was offered a job to be a casting director for the famed NYC casting office of Sylvia Fay, doing many films such as "TAXI DRIVER" and 70's TV series such as "KOJAK" and "BANACEK and "Law & Order."

After moving to Los Angeles, Kenny starred as "Pontius Pilate" in an L.A. Company of "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR," and then starred in the amazing musical productions of "PEPPER STREET" & "2nd WIND" in addition to commercials and television acting work.

After taking a year to work in Production at 20th Century Fox, Kenny co-created two Comedy Improv Troupes.  It was during this period that Kenny was offered the opportunity to use his comedy skills to become a "Comedy Traffic School Teacher".....a  new phenomenon in the late 80's and he quickly became famous for his classes in Los Angeles with national and international media attention.

It was then that Kenny created, produced and hosted the award winning cable TV show "ASK MR. TRAFFIC" show from 1990-2005, using his encyclopedic knowledge of all things "Driving" to answer callers questions and that led to appearances on national and international media. He hosted his own radio version of his cable TV show, "THE DRIVING SHOW with MR. TRAFFIC" on KRLAam1110 for 2 years and "DRIVETIME with MR. TRAFFIC " for Premiere Radio outlets on Sirius/xm for 3 years. He was featured for his work as "Mr. Traffic" in an unprecedented FIVE PAGE PROFILE in The New Yorker Magazine as "Mr. Traffic" in 2009. Kenny continued his most sought after classes until 2015.

During this period, Kenny had created and hosted the most popular nightclub singing show in West Hollywood for 25 years and in 2009, was offered an opportunity to become a regular "Stand-In/Rehearsal Actor" on the hit TV series "AMERCIAN IDOL" , now in his 15th season of work, which led to him playing TV judge, rock icon Steven Tyler, Howie Mandel on "AMERICA'S GOT TALENT"(7 Seasons) and almost every TV talent and award show since.  Kenny returned to on-screen acting on the ABC Soap Opera "GENERAL HOSPITAL" , the motion picture "TALES FROM BEYOND", "THE NEWEST PLEDGE" recently aired on Showtime. and for his last ACTING job he filmed a great convalescent home character on the new AMC-ALB streaming channel in the series "SEND HELP."

From 2011-2020 included The Golden Globe Awards, The AARP Movie Awards, The Hollywood Film Awards, The Emmys and The Daytime Emmys, , Jeff Ross's stand-in on the Netflix show "The Roast Of TOM BRADY'", "Torching 2024," "Historical Roasts," "The Voice" "Dancing With The Stars" "The Biggest Loser" and too many shows to name.

The pandemic closed down most shows, but Kenny continued on The Golden Globes and AARP Awards in 2021, and in 2022 he returned a Rehearsal Actor on the ABC series "AMERICAN IDOL 20th Anniversary Season,", along with the Fox Thanksgiving special "World Pet Games", and the Netflix TV special "JoKoy." And then.....went back to The Daytime Emmy Awards. The fall of 2023,2024 and 2025 had Kenny returning too "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC/Disney+. and in 2025 his 15th season "American Idol" , plus the 2025 Netflix "Tudum" preview of the coming season.

Kenny anticipates his return to "Dancing With The Stars" this fall on ABC.
